National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team had taken the PPP leader and 11 others into custody on Oct 23, 2017 after the Sindh High Court had rejected former Provincial Minister Sharjeel Memon and he was sent to jail.
The National Accountability Bureau had filed a reference in 2016 against the former minister, the then Provincial Information causing a loss of around Rs3.27 billion to the national exchequer.
After a couple of years Mr. Memon is back in the game enjoying the life of epitome of luxury.
Ironically, those who were booked by NAB in 2016 were speedily tried by the NAB Courts especially Hyderabad and were convicted of their cases one year ago. But Sharjeel Memon since he is one of the Vaderas and ATMs of Asif Zardari is back in business of Loot and Plunder.
