The people of Pakistan often miserably ask one question that why every @IMFNews condition is tied to extend loan to the government has to strangle the poor people of Pakistan by hiking the prices of gas, petrolium, electricitiy which is basic needs of 65% of the poor people of Pakistan? Why not yo slash luxurious life of provincial and federal officials, right from a junior non gazetted officer to the Chief Secretary of the province?
Every government official has a luxurious office, house, chauffer driven car, servants, paid utilities, feul, repairs, and tons of other facilities. Top of that, every district officer, from a junior revenue officer to the commissioner and DIG, has a house and offices on 5-10-15+ acres.
MISUSE OF OFFICIAL FACILITIES AND RESOURCES: Larkana is 455 km from Karachi. One should calculate that the birth and death dates of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto, Begum Nusrat Bhutto, Murtaza Bhutto and, Shahnawaz Bhutto (all are members of Peoples Party of Sindh rulers) fall 10 times a year and since their graves are in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh in one premises, Larkana, 455 km from Karachi, so, when the Chief Secretary of Sindh to the commissioner, deputy commissioner, police officers of every district of Sindh province travel in a protocol motorcade of least ten land cruisers, how much government petrol is burnt?
Remember, this is just one event of the year. While in Sindh province, there are events and visits 365 days in a year.
And don’t forget the chairman of the party Bilawal Zardari, vice chairman, his dad Asif Zardari, his 2 sisters, and family members travel separately in protocols of 30-50 vehicles each.
